(Orchard View) Inverclyde Integrated Care Facility, AOPCC, Greenock

The centre is designed to provide a clear orientation, way finding and ease of movement for patients, visitors and members of staff.  There are two distinct wards within the facility, one 12 bed adult ward and one 30 bed elderly ward including a 6 bed sub ward for patients that are frail and terminally ill. These wards are located at either end of the central hub which runs east to west across the site and contain the main entrance, a series of public day spaces and café.  The central hub also contains the back of house staff areas and office accommodation.

HB developed a BIM model during stage 2 of this design.
