New 25 ensuite bedroom hotel, shower beer fridge, Punk IPA on tap in every room, with a new restaurant and bar for 150 customers on the ground floor. Rooftop terrace with bar.
The project comprised of the transformation of a 1970s office building into a new 18 bed hotel with ground floor bar/restaurant and roof top terrace in the city centre of Manchester. The project achieved a BREEAM Excellent.
HBL provided a full M+E service allowed for a new high efficiency VRF, air conditioning throughout, ventilation to all bedrooms and specialist kitchen design to both the main ground floor bar and roof top kitchen. Planning constraints meant that there was an onerous on both odour control and noise level.
Domestic water services were provided by a new boosted water tank at roof level and direct acting electric hot water cylinders suitable sized for the development demand.
