Castlemilk Stables Block, Glasgow

Redevelopment of a dilapidated Georgian Grade ‘B’ Stables Block which was converted into a multi-use building incorporating a crèche, commercial training centre, business start-up offices and exhibition area to draw in the local community to educate them on sustainable issues.
The energy efficiency built into the design results in reduced rentals to assist start-up businesses. Solutions included Geothermal heat pump system, underfloor heating, CAT 6 structural cabling for IT system, low energy lighting solutions.
