Alterations and upgrading of existing sheltered housing complex comprising 22no. properties 1 and 2 bedrooms with associated communal areas and external works.
Upgrading of the building took place while fully occupied and works had to be phased in such a way disruption to tenants was minimal and required existing and new heating systems to run in tandemuntil final apartment handover.
New windows and doors, roof, render, enlargement of kitchen, wet floor shower room, full electrical rewire, central heating upgrade, communal areas upgraded. A new roof and insulated render system to increase energy efficiency. Services provided by HB involved all systems associated with the Mechanical and Electrical installations.
