A development at Linthouse Point in Govan with the delivery of 40 new build Flats and 20 new build terraced houses for the Home Group. The social housing development provides a mixture of Wheelchair accessible flats, 2 bedroom flats and 3 bedroom houses with landscaped common areas and public routes through the site.
The project achieved an “Eco Homes” Very Good rating as well as meeting Aspects 1 & 2 of Silver Standard.
HB adopted a Holistic Fabric First Approach in order to minimise fabric and infiltration losses to properties. Air Tightness was targeted at between 3-5 along with this the project utilised high efficiency / low NOx condensing boilers c/w flue gas heat recovery systems. Ventilation was achieved via decentralised mechanical extract ventilation allow for constant air changes within dwellings.
